Alcohol & Drug Awareness and Education Program

Our aim is to demonstrate and educate in practical, re-usable terms how one can move from a life where little seems of value, to one being both substance free and content. DCS refers to our conviction that any form of addiction can be potentially “life threatening” and recovery depends on a period of re-education, usually more beneficial if the client is initially removed from their usual environment. Addiction is not a problem of morals or will power. Willingness to make personal changes in attitudes and lifestyle is fundamental. We can provide and offer experience of not only the physical cycle of addiction and links with offending behaviour but also the emotional dysfunction to which many families of alcoholics/substance misusers find themselves drawn.
